Summer of 2006. Paris, France. Chloe is patiently waiting to leave for Beirut. She has decided to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of her parents’ arrival in France by taking a road trip to Lebanon. Exactly the same trip they took to escape the war, but in reverse. Ironically, a new war breaks out a few days before her departure. Her plans are affected, but the irrational affection she has for this wounded country impels her to set off anyway.

CHLOÉ MAZLO. Born in Paris in 1983, Chloé Mazlo studied graphic arts at the School of Graphic Arts in Strasbourg (Ecole des Arts Décoratifs) from 2002 to 2007. Her first film, L’amour m’anime, made during her final year, was selected in some twenty film festivals and broadcast on the French Television channel, Canal+.
