There are no limits to a child’s imagination. It runs free and is able to reframe almost anything into an adventure. Playing with imagination and reality, Exit Tale is an animated documentary based on the story of a Venezuelan child fleeing his home in order to survive.

Mariana Cadenas is a Venezuelan journalist turned filmmaker residing in Belgium. She holds a master’s degree in documentary filmmaking (Doc Nomads, LUCA School of Arts), and in Ibero-American Studies (KULeuven).
