DIÁSPORA CONECTA
Diaspora Conecta is a platform for the development of careers of black professionals in the Brazilian audiovisual industry, which carries out the Diaspora Lab, Diaspora School and Diaspora Incubator.
In 2020 it received more than 600 registrations for its activities, selected 11 feature film projects for the Diaspora Lab and 150 students for the Diaspora School workshops.
In 2021, the first edition of the Diaspora Incubator will begin, which will follow 03 feature film projects for 06 months. The project “Nós, povo da Ilha”, by director Elson Santos, from Cape Verde, which participated in the Afrolatam pitch in 2019, was one of those selected for the Incubator.
