ONE STITCH, ONE TEAR

A peasant town in the mountains is accused of collaborating with a guerrilla group, and suffers an incursion of more than 450 paramilitaries, in which they carry out massacres, and cause a massive displacement of hundreds of families. In the midst of it all, a group of women, the Weavers of Mampuján, make tapestries as trauma therapy, memory reconstruction and commitment to peace.

Isabel Macias (Argentina). Director and producer of San Quirino Estudio, dedicated to 2D and stop motion animation. As an animator she specializes in stop motion with textile fibers. In the area of audiovisual education, she coordinates the Animation course and teaches Stop Motion at the Avellaneda Film Institute, Idac. She is a member of RAMA, Red Argentina de Mujeres de la Animación. Her short films include El Correo, La nena, El botón, Nina, En la banquina, Lady Hacker and Génesis.
