BALCONY CONCERT

A tragicomic picture of the Polish society at the time of the first lockdown. Residents of a townhouse – each locked in their own apartment – are trying to adjust to a new situation. The majority remain at home and their only point of contact with the outside world is via a balcony and a common backyard. Isolation and physical distance abruptly limited the number of social interactions but also became an opportunity to observe the lives of our neighbors.

DIANA KADŁUBOWSKA born in 1974 in Warsaw. Graduate of Film School in Łódź (acting department). Since 2001 co-owner of Film Studio Plus TV, producer of TV shows, documentaries, and commercial films.

KRZYSZTOF KADŁUBOWSKI born 1965, residing in Warsaw. Graduate of Film School in Łódź. Graduate of the Artistic Photography Institute, Prague. His last film Returns had its premiere at the Cracow Festival od Doc. Films in 2010 and made it to the first 12 best Polish doc. Polish Shorts 2010.
