Strong winds are blowing in Heurtebise, Alice’s home in France. This year will be her last summer, and the first for her great-grandson Darío. A life reaching its end and another just beginning. One house, three women, a baby, and the sea. Shot in La Tranche-sur-Mer, on France’s Atlantic coast, Octavio Guerra deftly puts the camera to use in generating fictional structures and stories gleaned from reality. In this case, the nooks and crannies of a house inhabited by four generations of the director Elisa Torres’s family are portrayed with tremendous sensitivity.
