Lorraine’s background is as a producer of international series and documentaries. A co-founder of LinkTV, Lorraine was VP of Acquisitions and Programming for over a decade. With a passion for transformative and international programming and alternative distribution mechanisms for content, Lorraine has been a key player in a long list of TV and digital projects including Global Spirit, Bridge to Iran, Viewchange.org, and the LinkTV Newsapp.
She is currently co-curating KCETLINK’s documentary strand, LinkVoices, and consulting on various projects that speak to her unique skills and passions such as Advisor for the Bertha Foundation, Acquisitions Liaison for Channel X and Acquisitions VP for The Conscious Good, a startup video service.
Link Voices is a unique collection of documentaries that show a range of perspectoves, untold stories, and regional flavors. These films tackle topics including LGBT rights, homelessness, racism, and poverty through the eyes of the people closest to these issues. Enter the world of revolutionary artists, musicians, environmental activists, disbled individuals, and powerless communities.
Funding for the series is provided by grants from Millicent Bel Alec Rhodes, and other KCETLink donors.
