Pirulo is one of the best percussionists in the Dominican Republic. The Gagá music group of which he is part goes through a deep crisis. Tatá, an elderly priest of Gagá, advises Pirulo to return to Haiti to meet his uncle who will guide him to create his own Gagá group.

Has worked as a photographer, editor, and assistant director in cinema and publicity. His film La Imagen del Tiempo was an official selection in FID Marseille 2019 (Prix des Lycées).
