Mohamed Dih visits Boujdour, the Sahrawi refugee camps where he grew up after spending adolescence in Seville. When a sudden storm destroys his home, he decides to stay longer than planned to rebuild it, take care of his blind grandfather, and meet his two-year-old nephew.
NINA SOLÀ, POL PICAS, JÚLIA GIRÓS They met at ESCAC (University of Cinema and Audiovisual Media of Catalonia) and specialized in documentary film. They founded Mambo Project, an audiovisual art collective that explores different disciplines from a documentary perspective. At the end of 2015, they lived for three months in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Boujdour where they taught at the Kaid Abidin Saleh Film School. They have produced La Pasión de Pep Amores, a comedy documentary feature film, in collaboration with Morris Films and premiered at the BCN Film Festival
in 2021 and the documentary El tiempo después de la Lluvia. They have also participated as directors of La Nova Escola, a documentary produced by Nanouk Films and TV3 – Televisión of Catalonia.
