In order to resolve his health problems, Karim leaves the city and settles in a small mountain village. Intrigued by a mysterious place where an old shepherd was found dead, he embarks on a journey from which he will not return.
Jabrane Lakhssassi. A film editing graduate from ESAV Marrakech. I’ve directed various documentary short films, such as Journal d’un Passage (2014, 14 min) screened at Rencontre Internationale Paris/Berlin New Cinema and Contemporary Art, En Danse arTanger (2018, 15 min), Haraka/Mouvement (2019, 30 min),and SOS Malabata (2020, 10 min). I’ve also contributed to other documentaries, first as a film editor on Archipel (13 min, 2013) by Djamel Kerkar and Faouzi le victorieux (50 min, 2019) by Hadriens Bels, and then as a director of photography on La 7ème porte by Catherine Poncin, and Shérif by Sofian Achab. In 2016, i founded the audiovisual production company “Vabene Pictures”. Currently, I’m developing my creative documentary Truth Hides So Well and working on my debut feature film, Night Shift.
