LOS PACHITOS

Seeking to reduce the physical and emotional distance that emigration has created in his family, the director reunites with his relatives in the family home -which has been empty for many years- with the hope of reconnecting through what, perhaps, is the only thing that still unites them: music.

Juan Agustín Montón Velasco. Juan Agustín Montón Velasco (Bogotá, 1996). Graduated in Audiovisual Communication and Hispanic Philology from the University of Navarra (2014-2019), he has previously worked as a director and screenwriter for advertising and corporate projects, and as a sound recordist in documentary and fiction short films. He is currently working as a scriptwriter for fiction series at Amuse Studios (Paris / Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and as an acquisitions agent for Taskovski Films, while pursuing a Masters in Creative Documentary at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
