PUNTALES

Fifteen years ago, Mahamadou sailed from Mali to Tenerife on a “Cayuco” open boat. Today, as a Puntal A in “Lucha Canaria” Canarian wrestling, he gathers the strength to delve into his past and relive the journey that transformed his life. A film embodied in a fighter who builds invisible and timeless bridges between African symbolism and Canarian identity.

Andrés Borges. (Tenerife 1997), Canarian audiovisual producer. Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid and in Film Direction at the Film Institute of Madrid. He currently directs World Lens Studios, a creative studio specialized in the production of audiovisual works for brands and agencies, with great interest in projects related to sustainable tourism. Puntales will be his first documentary film.
