A filmmaker and her two sisters, each living in Paris, Tel Aviv and Bogotá, explore their feelings and conflicts at this stage of life. In their frequent encounters, their opposing visions of old age become more and more recurrent.
Joyce Ventura has been a film entrepreneur since 1975. Her work includes the making and production of documentary and fiction films, in co-production with countries such as France, USA, Spain and Mexico, among others. Part of his work has been recognized and awarded in film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Moscow, San Sebastian and Cartagena. Joyce has also been a communication teacher and jury member at several international film festivals.
Cine Cinco is a company founded in 2014 to take over the work of the former company Producciones Cinematográficas Uno Ltda. (founded in 1971 and closed in 2010). Its first co-production with Argentina, “Adiós Entusiasmo” by Vladimir Duran, opened at the Berlin Film Festival 2017 and received a dozen awards at different international festivals. His second co-production “Un cuadro Japonés” by Vladimir Duran has just received the WIP Award at Bafici 2019.
