Men of many ages gather in a featureless room. We don’t know much about them nor whether it is day or night. Only some signs spread out along the footage will allow us to learn something about their particular circumstances.

Mauro Herce graduated in Engineering and Fine Arts before enrolling at the EICTV (Cuba) and Louis Lumière (France) Film Schools. Since then he has been working as a director of photography and sometimes as screenwriter on films such as: Fire will come (O. Laxe), Longa Noite (E. Enciso),
Pour le réconfort (V. Macaigne), Mimosas (O. Laxe), The sea stares at us from afar (M. Muñoz), Arraianos (E. Enciso), Slimane (J.Alayon), Decline (T. Court), etc. Dead Slow Ahead is his first feature film as a director and won the Special Jury Award in Locarno FF 2015 (filmmakers of the present) among many others.
