MACONDAMÉRICA

The reality of an extraordinary Latin America connected to the fantastic people created by García Márquez. Day to day heroes rescue, through orality, stories about their lives and their villages in different regions, thus reconstructing a true continental Macondo.

Ana Teixeira is a Brazilian filmmaker with specialization in TV and New Media at EICTV (Cuba) and graduated in Media Studies at UNICAMP.
In Cuba, she has directed several productions: Reflejo, Ecos, Voces de La Sierra and in the youth documentary Lo que soy, selected as finalist in the Prix Jenuesse Iberoamericano, 2019.
In Brazil, he made the animated short Indescritível, winner of the FICC fund, and Coisa Malu, a short financed through the Alumno-Artista fund, which was exhibited for 4700 children in twenty national festivals and selected for the Short Film Corner, in Cannes.
