Blanchard,Chagui, John, Mambueni and Chance sleep in Prince Street,
the main road which runsthrough the little village of Inkisi, only
180 kilometres fromthe capital of the DemocraticRepublic of the
Congo. They are Chegues, aterm which refers to Che Guevara, and
which alludes to their capacity forresistance and their fight to
survive. Poverty and the loss of traditionalcultural values which
put children at the heart of the family structure hasgenerated
despair in their families.
