A Bomb for Pan Africa

A Bomb for Pan Africa tells the story of Carlos Moore, who speaks of race as the most fundamental issue of our time. The clarity of his vision from a young age – a quest to unite the black world – led to a series of encounters that would culminate in a secret project to build Africa ́s nuclear weapon.

Eva Njoki Munyiri has worked as a filmmaker, producer, researcher and curator in Kenya, South Africa, France, India and Mexico.

Her first feature Waithira won at LAFF (Egypt 2018) was in competition at DIFF & Encounters (South Africa 2017), Festival Film de Femmes (Salé 2018) selected Dokfest Munich (2018), AFI (Washington 2018) etc.

Her short film Bankslave part of web doc Défense d’Afficher won France24/RFI prize at the Visa pour l’Image Festival (Perpignan in 2012) and selected to dozens international festivals.

Curious Kid is the Kenyan production company run by Eva Njoki Munyiri (of Team Tarbaby’s South African production company).

Eva (under Curious Kid) has produced and directed several short videos and films including “Liquid” shot in Madhya Pradesh, India that was instrumental in the Basic Income debate in India and France (2013).

Curious Kid enabled Eva Njoki to collaborate with Chimurenga, a Pan African writing, art, and politics collective to bring their radio station PASS (Pan African Space Station) to the Tamayo Museum one of Mexico City´s leading public contemporary art museums 2017.
