At a fumigation center in Havana, Mayelín is dedicated to the ungrateful task of fining citizens who have the dengue mosquito in their houses. With a demanding boss and conflictive employees, Mayelín will have to gain respect by imposing her own authority.

ALDEMAR MATIAS (1985, Manaus) is a film director graduate of EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de Cuba). Matias’ work has been honored internationally with several awards including the Jury First Prize of DocumentaMadrid. Parente (2011), his documentary about HIV testing in the Yanomami and Tikuna villages in the Amazon, was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and was acquired by the Brazilian Ministry of Health for screenings in London and Barcelona. El Enemigo (2015), his latest film shot in Havana, had its world premiere at Visions du Réel and was selected in Biarritz, San Sebastián, Tel Aviv, Doc Buenos Aires, Trinidad+Tobago, among others.
