Deep inside the Argentinian highlands in a small community at an altitude of 4000 MAMSL, a native llama herder is following the traces of an invisible puma who is killing his livestock. His incessant search leads him to a mystical encounter with his ancestors and the changing form of the puma.
Alejandro Telémaco Tarraf is an Argentinian filmmaker. He studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires and Cinematography at S.I.C.A, the audio-visual industry union in Argentina. As a director/producer and cinematographer, his works have been screened in several international film festivals including Rotterdam, BAFICI, Ficunam, Fribourg, Busan, Visions Du Réel, AFI Fest, and Institute of Contemporary Arts ICA – London, amongst others. In 2014 he was selected for the 9th Buenos Aires Talents programme sponsored by the BAFICI together with the Berlinale, as well as for the Buenos Aires Biennale of Young Artists. His first feature documentary Piedra Sola premiered in the official Tiger Competition at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2020.
